Opening in 2012 Art of Animation Resort !!!!!
Disney World to build new Resort
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will have 1,120 Family Suites with room for as many as six people( Great For Large Families) and another 864 traditional hotel rooms. The opening phase is set for 2012 .
Each section will have separate courtyards anchored by icons from the movies — such as a 35-foot-tall King Triton presiding over the Mermaid section — and the entire resort will use bright-color palettes evocative of the lush scenery of animated movies. Hotel designers say they have been soliciting input from artists at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios on everything from building elevations to which scenes to depict at the swimming pools.
Disney said the project will generate approximately 800 construction jobs.

Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase
Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure is an ultra interactive quest at Epcot theme park based on the Disney Channel animated series, Kim Possible. Transform into secret agents, join Team Possible and help save the world from super-villains with the help of a high-tech "Kimmunicator".
Join Team Possible
Guests of all ages can become secret agents. Volunteer at Team Possible recruitment centers in Innoventions: The Road to Tomorrow and on the Odyssey Bridge. You'll receive your mission assignment and be sent out to thwart evildoers.
The Kimmunicator
Upon reporting for duty, recruits receive their super-secret Kimmunicators—interactive, handheld, cell-phone-like devices that help maneuver agents through their mission. Using state-of-the-art technology, your Kimmunicator will connect agents with a variety of Kim Possible characters who will provide clues to help stop super villains from carrying out their dastardly plans.
Your Mission
Embark on exciting quests for clues throughout Mexico Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, China Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, France Pavilion or the United Kingdom Pavilion. Each pavilion hosts a different mission, so you can go back again and again.
Missions are designed with groups in mind and can last anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes. 2 to 4 agents can share a Kimmunicator. Kimmunicators even recognize when a team has broken away from the action—even secret agents need ice cream breaks—and will alter your mission accordingly.
The Bad Guys
Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure is really 7 different experiences with 7 unique super villains.
In the China Pavilion, for example, you must rescue the precious Jade Monkey from Lord Monkeyfist and his monkey ninjas. In the Germany Pavilion, you must stop Professor Dementor from using his evil mind-control device to influence world leaders.
Not every villain has such dark intentions behind their dreams of global domination. In the United Kingdom Pavilion, Duff Killigan simply wants to turn the earth into a giant golf course.
Hidden Rewards
Upon successfully completing your mission, you'll experience a secret finale event, and then you can return your Kimmunicator knowing that you've done your part to save the world.
Hurry! Kim Possible needs your help!

Disney for First Timer’s the Do’s and Don’ts”
Congratulations you have finally decided to head to Walt Disney World! With so much to see and do, it’s important to come prepared. Here are some excellent tips to make your trip one that will be remembered for a lifetime. Here is a List of Do's!
Staying on Property is a Must DO! Whether you chose to stay on Disney property or another local hotel. Walt Disney World has 23 resorts on Disney property; there are hundreds of off-site resorts near Disney World. Disney offers many benefits to stay in one of the Disney resorts, and honestly, I can’t give you any benefits to staying off site but I had a hard time making a short list of the benefits to stay on property! I finally did it.
Disney has some of the most unique resorts anywhere. Staying off-property, you may get a nice pool, but it will be basically a hotel. Disney has a resort surrounded by live animals (Animal Kingdom Lodge), one that makes you feel like you are really in the South Pacific (Polynesian) and a near replica of the Old Faithful Lodge from Yellowstone (Wilderness Lodge). All Disney resorts offer great theme, and really give you a unique vacation experience.
Everyone LOVES to shop even if it a small trinket to take back to a special someone. The next great Benefit to staying on Disney Property is Resort Deliver of Package – Image, if you can, walking down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, and your daughter falls in love with a life size Minnie Mouse in one of the shop windows. Remember, it is 9 AM. What are you going to do? Staying at a Disney resort, you can go ahead and buy Minnie Mouse and have it sent back to your resort. She will be waiting on you when you return from the parks, and only have to carry her up to the room. A much better option that having to carry Minnie Mouse around the Magic Kingdom all day.
As a Mom of Three Boys I can tell you the Value of Refillable Mugs – All of the Disney resorts offer refillable mugs for sale, good for your entire trip at your home resort, and can be filled with soda, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some resorts even have frozen Coke. Mugs run about $13 each with tax, and if you are staying for longer than a few days, the refillable mugs make for a great way to save money on drinks while at your resort, and a great souvenir that you can take home with you.(they are include in the free dining promo right Now !)
Speaking of the Free Disney Promo here is another great reason. Disney Dining Plan – Disney World offers a great dining plan that can be used in the resorts and theme parks, but the only way to get it is to stay at a Disney resort (you must also purchase a Magic Your Way package including your resort room and park passes, but that is a small requirement). The Dining plan is a great money saver, and a great way to budget, as you know the cost of all that theme park food in advance. It also allows you to be able to go to restaurants you normally would not, as everything is paid for in advance. I no longer will go to Disney without the Disney Dining Plan, it just make my vacation just that much better, I can’t imagine going without it. (And DID I TELL YOU THERE IS A FREE DINING PROMO RIGHT NOW!!)
There is so many other benefit s to staying on Disney that I could make this into a full page blog entry all by it's self fast! However, I want to tell you other great thing to do on your First Trip! Plan ahead. - Decide ahead of time what your priorities are and make a plan of action. Get to the parks early! - It’s amazing, particularly in busy season, how many of the popular rides you can knock off your list before half the “World” gets out of bed.( if staying on property there are Extra Magic hours ) Use Fast pass, Disney’s free, nifty, timesaving device. - It’s offered at all four theme parks and is a great way to save hours of waiting in line. Just insert your park pass in one of the machines located at each individual Fast pass attraction and receive a ticket printed with a designated one-hour window in which you may return and enter a special line with little or no waiting. Be spontaneous. - If something catches your eye, even if it’s not on your daily list of things to do, stop and explore. If not, you could miss something wonderful. Realize the limitations of your children. - If they’re tired, take a break. If their feet hurt, get them a stroller (forget that they outgrew one year ago). If a ride scares them don’t force the issue. Such precautions will make your day and the day of other park visitors a lot less stressful.(this is also where staying on property has a great Benefit Easy access to you hotel room: Great for mid-day naps!) Most importantly, slow down and enjoy the magic. - Resist the urge to see everything at breakneck speed. You can’t possibly cover it all, so think of this as your first trip to Disney, not your last. There will be time to pick up all the things you missed on the next go-round.
Now For the Don’ts
It’s really hard to tell you not to do something at the most magical place in the world! However we will say these are time saving tips that you may chose to use!
Don't: Eat during peak lunch hours Disney World during the peak lunch hours, from noon to 2 p.m., is a mad house -- grub lines can easily gobble up 30 minutes. Have a early lunch or use a snack to hold you over!
Don't skip meals. Never skip meals at Disney World or it will bite you on the back end! Skip breakfast and little Johnny will be melting down by noon! At least have everyone grab a muffin and eat on the way!
Don’t expect to dine at a restaurant in a theme park if you don’t have admission. Many guests think it’s wrong that Disney doesn’t allow its guests to dine in a theme park without having a ticket. I can somewhat understand that, but think of it this way. If you wanted to dine in a certain theme park and you were let in for free, what’s to say that once you’re done dining, you won’t go and further explore the rest of the attractions in that theme park? It’s like you’re getting entrance into a theme park for free that others have to pay for. That’s why you’re not allowed to dine in another theme park unless you have a ticket.
Don't go overboard. Sure those delicious sweets look inviting but resist. If you go overboard and overdo it, your stomach may rebel against those rollercoaster’s you were so looking forward to! This goes especially for children! Yes they are on vacation and why shouldn't they have an extra dessert, a Mickey ice cream, cotton candy, a Dole Whip, AND the huge sucker in the candy shop...you may see all of those foods come back up on the Teacups, that's why not!
Disney World will be fun and easy! These simple tips will ensure that you feel like going on all of the rides and standing in those lines at Disney World. Use common sense when it comes to taking rest breaks and how much to walk each day. Can you really expect a young child to walk three miles each day when they never do at home?
